Our Central Service Office is a visible service, existing and united in a partnership with Alcoholics Anonymous groups. We are in the common purpose of carrying the message of Alcoholics Anonymous to the alcoholic who still suffers, and to those recovering from the disease of alcoholism.

This website’s purpose is to reach out to the alcoholic who still suffers. This website’s aim is to provide both specific information to the Alcoholics Anonymous community, and general information to the public, about the Alcoholics Anonymous program of recovery. We also offer local meeting schedules, Alcoholics Anonymous services, special events and literature. Although some of the items contained in these pages are published with permission of Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc., and The A.A. Grapevine, Inc., this does not imply approval of this website by the General Service Conference. Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy covers this Central Service Office of Alcoholics Anonymous website. We provide our website’s visitors with anonymous access so that they can browse our website without disclosing any personal data. We do not automatically log personal data, nor do we link information automatically logged by other means, with personal data about specific individuals. We do not collect information about our visitors from any other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations.

When submitting a Meeting add/change/delete request, we ask for a name and email so we can provide feedback. We recommend using your first name and last initial only.

When shopping in our online book store, we ask for a name and address to send your purchase to.

When signing up for The BEAM mail newsletter, we ask for a name and address to mail the newsletter to.

If you send us a message through the contact form, we ask for a name and an email or phone so that we may help with your contact message.

We do not sell personal information.

We use PayPal for purchases, donations, and subscriptions to The BEAM. If you do not wish to use PayPal, you can visit our office in Portland or call us.

We use WordFence to provide additional website security, and secure hosting through WPEngine.

We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect any personal data from:

  • Unauthorized Access
  • Improper Use or Disclosure
  • Unauthorized Modification
  • Unlawful Destruction or Accidental Loss

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is a committee of members from local groups who come together for the purpose of overseeing the business of the Central Service Office.

This committee meets the last Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm at Central Service Office. For more info please email [email protected]

CSR Meeting

The purpose of the CSR (Central Service Representative) meeting is to provide a conduit for communication between the Central Service Office and the local groups.

Functions Committee

The Functions Committee is tasked with the exciting opportunity to plan activities and events sponsored by the Central Service Office.

This committee meets quarterly. We are looking for people to sit on the functions committee to plan and put on CSO events. For more info please email [email protected]
